Mangaluru: BIG Show, the mega interior design, building, construction, real estate and technology event, held by ZMZ Events and Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) – Mangaluru, was inaugurated at the TMA Pai Convention Centre in the city on Saturday.
Dr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, vice chancellor of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) and Ar Jaisim Krishnarao, former president of the Indian Institute of Architects, inaugurated the two-day event.
Zaheer Ahmed, managing director of ZMZ Events, welcomed the gathering.
He gave an insight into the exhibition and conference and thanked all the supporters, sponsors, speakers and the media partners who had contributed to the success of the mega event. “With over 85 exhibitors and more than 150 brands representing the exhibition, this is indeed the biggest event industry trade show in Mangaluru,” Ahmed said.
Dr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, who spoke about BIG Show, stressed the importance of such industry trade shows to be held in Mangaluru with the objective of making the city the business hub for many more national and international companies to network, grow and invest.
Sukumar Srinivas, managing director of Shankara Build Pro, the title sponsor for BIG Show India, expressed his heartfelt thanks to ZMZ Events. “It is indeed the biggest show and has lived up to its name. Real estate and building sector is the key for growth of any economy, this event has proven to be very significant for the development of this sector,” he said.
