Terms & Conditions
These general Terms cover website use and business-event participation. Event-specific proposals, registration forms, invoices and signed agreements may contain additional or different commercial terms.
These Terms apply to use of the ZMZ Events website and to general enquiries, registrations and participation in ZMZ-managed exhibitions, conferences, networking programmes and business events, unless a separate event-specific registration form, exhibitor/sponsor agreement, proposal or contract states otherwise. Event-specific written terms take priority where they conflict with these general Terms.
Website information
Event dates, venues, speakers, programmes, features, sponsors, exhibitors and other information may change. ZMZ Events aims to keep information accurate but does not guarantee that every published detail will remain unchanged.
Registrations and attendance
Registrations may be subject to eligibility, capacity, payment, approval, identification and event-specific conditions. ZMZ may refuse or cancel a registration where reasonably necessary for safety, capacity, legal/compliance, payment, conduct or event-integrity reasons.
Fees, taxes and payment
Where fees apply, prices, taxes, payment schedules and inclusions will be stated in the relevant registration, proposal, invoice or agreement. Participation is not confirmed until the applicable confirmation requirements are met.
Cancellations, substitutions and refunds
Cancellation, substitution and refund rights vary by event and participation category. The event-specific booking form, proposal, invoice or signed agreement will govern. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, non-refundable costs already committed to venues, production, travel, marketing or third parties may be taken into account.
Event changes and force majeure
ZMZ may reasonably change the programme, speakers, timings, venue, format or delivery method. If circumstances outside reasonable control materially affect an event—including government action, severe weather, public-health events, travel disruption, venue failure, security incidents or similar events—ZMZ may postpone, relocate, reschedule, modify or cancel the event. Event-specific commercial terms will determine credits or refunds, if any.
Speakers, delegates and networking
Invited speakers, executives, buyers, delegates or meeting participants are subject to availability and may change. References to targeted audiences or meeting objectives are not guarantees that any specific person, company, government entity, buyer, investor or business outcome will attend or result.
Exhibitors, sponsors and partners
Exhibition space, sponsorship rights, branding, speaking opportunities, deliverables, payment schedules, cancellation rights and operational rules are governed by the applicable proposal, participation form or agreement. Participants must comply with venue rules, health and safety requirements, intellectual-property rules, deadlines and lawful instructions from the organiser.
Conduct
Attendees and participants must behave professionally and must not harass others, create unsafe conditions, misuse badges/access, conduct unlawful activity, infringe intellectual property or disrupt the event. ZMZ may remove a person from an event where reasonably required to protect attendees, staff, property or event operations.
Photography and recording
Events may be photographed, filmed or recorded for event documentation, news, archival and promotional use, subject to applicable law and event notices. Participants should contact ZMZ before the event if they have a specific concern requiring consideration.
Third-party services and links
Venues, hotels, airlines, payment providers, external event websites and other third parties operate under their own terms. ZMZ is not responsible for third-party services outside the scope of ZMZ’s contractual responsibility.
Intellectual property
ZMZ and event-brand names, logos, designs, website content and event materials may be protected by intellectual-property rights. They may not be reproduced or commercially used without appropriate permission. Speakers and partners remain responsible for rights in materials they supply.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ZMZ is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost business opportunities or outcomes that depend on third-party attendance or decisions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the ZMZ Events Privacy Policy and relevant event-specific notices.
Governing arrangements
The governing law, jurisdiction and dispute provisions for paid participation, sponsorship, exhibition or client projects will be those stated in the relevant contract, proposal, invoice or participation form. For general website use where no separate agreement exists, applicable law will determine the relevant rights and obligations.
